Welcome to my website. I have been superintendent of Ottawa Hills Local Schools since August of 2010. At Ottawa Hills, it is my pleasure to lead a district which consistently ranks as one of the top five in Ohio with a high school rated among the top 2% in the nation by The Washington Post’s Challenge Index, Newsweek, and U.S. News & World Report. The Ottawa Hills School district has been rated “Excellent” by the Ohio Department of Education for thirteen straight years.

An educator since 1983, my previous experiences include teaching English at Wayne Trace Junior/Senior High School in Haviland, Ohio, where I also served as principal for six years. I then served as Superintendent of Hicksville Village Schools in Defiance County, Ohio, where I oversaw the design and construction of a new, 148,000 square foot Pre-K through 12 school.
